Myself
I graduated from The
University of Hong Kong, majoring in English. I did not
join the education field right after my graduation. I was
an administrative officer at a toy company. After a year's
work in the business area, I wanted to try something else.
I then became a primary teacher. It was not a good
experience for me as I found I was not good at handling
children. But teaching was fine to me. Then I applied for a
secondary teaching post. I took my Diploma of Education in
The Chinese University
of Hong Kong.
I love learning languages. I learnt French, Japanese,
Putonghua and German when I was a student. I can't speak
much French and German now because I haven't been using
these languages for more than a decade. I could only
remember some simple phrases.
I love travelling. The country I like most is Japan. I love
its hot springs, fashion, food and culture.
My Family
I was married in December 1999. I met my husband when I was a Form
Six student. We went to the same church. We were just
friends at that time. We started dating when I entered the
university. He is a freelance song writer, actor, piano
teacher and columnist.
My Babies
My babies were born on 24 May 2002. They belong to the
Shih-tzu breed.
The twins are very naughty. The elder brother is naughtier
than the little one. If you come to my place, you can never
put your shoes on the floor. Neither can you leave your bag
unattended. The big brother is notorious for untying your
shoelace and unzipping your bag. My husband once had to
compensate for the deed he did. The big brother unzipped
one of his students' bag. He took out the girl's mobile
phone and played with it without anyone noticing it. At the
end, we discovered that he managed to take out the battery
from the mobile phone and chewed it. The battery was
completely annihilated.
They love playing hide-and-seek with me. But they are quite
stupid. They keep looking for me in the same place. Another
interesting game of theirs is mouth wrestling. Don't know
what it is? Click here and

I am now teaching in the third
school in my teaching life.
In this school, I have been given a lot of chances to try
out different posts. I have the opportunity to stretch my
potentials and know my strengths and weaknesses better.
My
previous school is situated in Ho Man Tin. We
celebrated our 40th anniversary in October 2004.
This year, I taught two S6 classes and one S1 class. You
can ask me anything about English. If you have any
questions regarding the JUPAS application, choice of
studies, further studies or careers choice, free feel to
leave a message in the Forum section.
This year my class is 6M. They are very adorable teenagers.
Everyone is full of character! I hope all of them can
promote to Form Seven and then all enter the university to
study the course they like.
I am attending North Point
Alliance Church. I received Jesus Christ as my saviour
in 1990 and I was baptised in 1991.
My Hobbies and Interests
I love a lot of things. I like reading but I don't have
much time to read because there are a lot of things I want
to do! I love singing and I have been a choir member in the
morning service since 1991. I love playing the piano,
flute, oboe and guitar (I got grade 5 in piano and flute,
the other two are at elementary level). I have joined the
windband in my church and also a windband outside. It's fun
to play music together with a group of people! Joining the
windbands also helps me to improve my skills and
sightreading.
